THE SYSTEM
Not a cleanse. Five moves — in priority order — that cut the biggest avoidable exposures and let your body's own clearance systems do their job. Every one is drawn from the science library.
Water is the exposure most people can upgrade fastest and cheapest. A certified carbon or reverse-osmosis filter removes chlorine by-products, lead, PFAS and microplastics. Drink from glass or steel, not plastic.
You spend ~90% of your time indoors. Ventilate while cooking, skip scented candles and plug-ins, air out new furniture, and add a correctly sized HEPA purifier to your main room. Test once for radon.
Heat is what makes plastic leak into food. Never microwave or store hot food in plastic — use glass or ceramic. Retire scratched nonstick pans for cast iron or stainless.
Your liver runs on nutrients. Eat cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage) that support phase-II enzymes, plenty of fiber to carry compounds out, and buy organic selectively for the few high-residue crops.
Move and sweat regularly, sleep well, and stay hydrated so your kidneys have volume to work with. You can't buy a shortcut — but you can keep the system you already own running well.
